I was inspired to create HolleyBerry Collections several years ago... it was fall, my favorite time of year, the leaves were rich with color and Thanksgiving was approaching. I had planned a wonderful feast for my family complete with a fabulous chocolate cake I'd seen on the cover of a women's magazine, it was topped with bright little marzipan pumpkins, gourds, acorns and chocolate curls. I had already designed place cards-- more for fun than function, and had constructed small paper cornucopias to hold each guests after dinner mints. Now to complete this pretty picture all I needed was a lovely embroidered linen runner and napkins for my dinner table, but I couldn't find them anywhere.

That's when the wheels started turning...

Why couldn't I create my own embroidery designs? After all my mother, a woman of great style, taught me to sew and always encouraged my sense of design. Because she made it fun, challenging and rewarding sewing remained an integral part of my life. So I knew I would enjoy the process of turning my illustrations into embroidery designs. Embellishing decorating projects, gifts and clothing with my own embroidery designs has became a passion. Now I can share them with you!
